ただいま!!!
January 18, 2008
I’m back!!!! Writing again in this blog…
I’m back!!!! Listening back and forth to Arashi… YAY!!! ARASHIYAY!!! This person is poisoned again by JEM!!! AIBAYAY!!!
My office’s co-workers would voluntarily choke me to death when they hear any Arashi’s member name mentioned. Which a good thing! They finally remember their names. ^____^ (they’d kill me after reading this)
However, I found many parts of their lyrics interesting. When you read it in the real language, which is Japanese, those lyrics were deep… You must know their culture first to acknowledge the sense of the sentence.
Like in my present ‘Shout Out’, taken from the song titled "君のために僕がいる" means equal with "You’re the reason I’m here" :
"明日のために今日がある、"
literally means…
"Today is here for tomorrow’s sake"
which I think does better than the title of the song.
Next example… quoted from the song "HERO" :
"あなたの夢はみんなの夢さ、今この時は君が輝く舞台。流した涙超えてここに立つ、"
means…
"Your dream is others too, you’re in the spotlight now. The tears you’ve cried had brought you to where you’re standing by now,"
Really… touching.. plus the right melody…
And, the romantic one… in the song "言葉よりも大切なもの" means "precious thing other than words" :
"あなたよりも大きな愛はどこにもないんだよ。"
means…
"There’s no place I could find a greater love than to you."
The structure and placing of the words were intriguing at first but then when it reach the end of the sentence, your heart melt…
Ma…. I would dreaming of Arashi tonight. SO… AIBAYAYBAYBAY!!!! ^_____^
